Bespoke Student Learning Journals

When you choose to partner with 4schools, you can be confident that you have everything covered. You will receive the highest quality, competitively priced, durable, bespoke journal uniquely designed for your school.

But the 4schools bespoke journal goes far beyond the elements mentioned above. With over 25 years’ experience working with schools and students to ensure we innovatively adapt and improve our journals, you are not just providing your students with a place to record homework, you are supporting them in reflecting on and managing their learning, while at the same time promoting daily a culture of learning and wellbeing within your school.

‘Cultural Awareness & Inclusivity’ is the theme for the 2024-25 journal. This theme is explored through the Cultural Awareness module and the teaching resources developed by Melanie Martin and Leah O' Shaughnessy, teachers at Tallaght Community College, to support teachers navigating the diverse landscape that exists in schools today. Listen to Melanie and Leah discussing the importance of teaching students about diversity and inclusion below. Read on to find out more...

"I enjoyed the process of updating our student journals and found 4schools an absolute pleasure to deal with. There were plenty of updates to be made and they were great."

Mary Dooley

"Being a new school, I thought organising the journal would be a big job and might take a large chunk of time over the summer holidays, but I was surprised how easy and incredibly smooth the process was and the journals arrived bang on time. We were very happy with them."

Matthew Quinn

"Design process is intuitive and professional. The journals are durable and visually attractive, while the generic content is both relevant and useful to students."

Cultural Awareness & Inclusivity Theme for 2024/25

We introduced the enriching theme of Cultural Awareness in our Bespoke Journals last year. The positive response from schools inspired us to continue with this theme and explore additional ways to assist schools in facilitating powerful conversations that embrace diversity and promote empathy.

In today's multicultural landscape, it's more crucial than ever to equip our students with the tools needed to navigate diverse environments with empathy and respect. Melanie Martin and Leah O’Shaughnessy, teachers at Tallaght Community College and co-authors of Resilience and Me, have carefully curated engaging and thought-provoking student activities supported with PowerPoint lesson slides, teacher support handbook and posters to be displayed in classrooms/ corridors to help students respond to discriminatory comments.

We hope that these powerful resources will guide and support your team in elevating cultural awareness in your school. Please email info@4schools.ie or call 01- 808 1494 to find out more information or discuss the journal options to suit your school's needs.
